20:9. “సోదరా, నీవు క్షేమమేనా?” అని యోవాబు అమాశాను అడిగినాడు. యోవాబు తన కుడిచేతితో అమాశాను ముద్దు పెట్టుకునేందుకా అన్నట్టు గడ్డం పట్టుకున్నాడు.

20:9. అప్పుడు యోవాబు అమాశాతోనా సహోదరా, నీవు క్షేమముగా ఉన్నావా అనుచు, అమాశాను ముద్దుపెట్టు కొనునట్లుగా కుడిచేత అతని గడ్డము పట్టుకొని

20:9. Joab said to Amasa, "How are you, my brother?" With his right hand Joab took hold of Amasa's beard as if to greet him with a kiss.

20:9. "How are you, my cousin?" Joab said and took him by the beard with his right hand as though to kiss him.

20:9. And Joab said to Amasa, Is it well with thee, my brother? And Joab took Amasa by the beard with his right hand to kiss him.

20:9. And Joab said to Amasa, "Is it well with you, my brother?" And Joab took Amasa by the beard with his right hand to kiss him.

20:9. And Joab said to Amasa, [Art] thou in health, my brother? And Joab took Amasa by the beard with the right hand to kiss him.

20:9. And Joab said to Amasa, "Is it well with you, my brother?" And Joab took Amasa by the beard with his right hand to kiss him.

20:9. And Joab said to Amasa, Is it well with thee, my brother? And Joab took Amasa by the beard with his right hand to kiss him.

20:9. And Joab saith to Amasa, `Art thou [in] peace, my brother?` and the right hand of Joab layeth hold on the beard of Amasa to give a kiss to him;

20:9. Joab asked Amasa, "How are you doing, brother?" Then Joab reached out with his right hand and grabbed Amasa by the beard to kiss him hello.

20:9. Joab said to Amasa, Is it well with you, my brother? Joab took Amasa by the beard with his right hand to kiss him.
